Sega GT is a racing game like none other. It features a large variety of cars, and a large variety of tracks. The one thing that is different in Sega GT than in most other racing games, is that the driving maneuvering is made much more simplistic. When you come to a turn, you won't have to bash that brake button or kill your directional pad. It is not just the driving maneuvering that was improved though. THe tracks are made so that the novice players would enjoy some of them and the pros would enjoy some others. The graphics is Sega Gt are brilliant. The cars have been designed to make them look top notch in the raceway. The environments in the game are designed nicely too, to give the driver a better comfort. Special effects such as tire marks haven't been touched upon very much. The main special effect is usually the flying dust particles. In the Main Menu, there is a 3d map of the track you will race on. This helps the driver prepare for the track. The music featured in Sega GT is much like the music in the Gran Turismo series. They are tending to be soft rock style. This also is helpful because it sets a mood for the raceway and doesn't distract the driver too much. A different song is at every raceway. There are many cars featured in Sega GT. They are so varied, that they go from 50hp to 300hp. Starting out with a used car is usually best, because it helps to save some money. Brand names go from Fiat to Ferrari. Some cars are good on individual raceways. Playing Sega GT is a fun way to make time fly. There is so much to do and accomplish that you won't know how long you are going to play! This made us give Sega GT an overall rating of nine. Review by sdcoolskater |
