Hints and Tips - Part 1
In order to stay on your farm, you need to have a Farm Rate of at least
35%. In order to get that, you need to get high relationships with your
wife, horse, and dog (heart wise), having plenty of animals (cows, sheep,
and chickens), recipes, etc.
You come prepared with a dog. To get your horse, well actually, you get a
pony. One of your goals is to get it to at lest 8+ hearts by the end of
the first year, or else that mean old Barley will take him back. Once you
have a full grown horse, you can ride him, throw crops at the red thing
(instead of going to the bin), and participate in the Horse Race! Be sure
to brush him and put him in when it rains, snows, or a blizzard or
hurricane comes.
In order to get married, you need to have a high relationship. How you may
ask?? Well it just so happens that you don't need to be a relationship
freak. Just talk to her often. Respond to questions frequently and give
her gifts. The heart pattern in the Dialogue Box will go like this...
BLACK, PURPLE, BLUE,
GREEN, YELLOW,
ORANGE, AND RED.
Be careful, the Orange and the Red are very close so make sure that the
BLUE FEATHER to the right girl. The blue
feather is used to propose. Buy it at the supermarket for 5000G and then a
red heart will be scribbled on your calendar when the date is.
This guide will be updated about daily. © Written by ibblebay

Mining
In order to mine... you'll obviously need a hoe. You get them when your
life as a farmer begins. If you plan to upgrade them, you need to get the
special metal ore. (I can't think of it's name!! ^_^) and give that to
Saibara, the Blacksmith. In three days, you'll get that upgraded. You
don't have to though. Just if you want to till more land at one time.
While in the mine... you can get various things.
Gold, Rocks/Junk, Copper, Silver, Gold, Mysterille, Orichulum, and another
which I can't remember at the moment. It's also possible to get Power
Berries too!!!!!!
In Winter, you can get to a special mine and you can fish in there ^_^.
Fishing
In that special mine, there are large fish and a legendary fish too!
About those legendary fish....they are rare. Once you get it, you make a
print of it and then it's released. You can't keep those fish. Regular
fish you can breed in your little fish pond on you farm. In order to breed
you need to buy fish food and throw a handful in daily to breed.
In the beginning you can't buy a fishing pole or you don't start out with
one. You get it from Greg, the old guy who fishes and lives on the Beach
with Zack. You can even cook the fish too. To get your pole, you need to
go to the pier from 7am--9am or 7pm--9pm on Fridays, Saturdays, and
Sundays (aka the weekend). Later when you have 50 fish, he gives you a
real rod!

Relationships, Marriage and Family
Hi Harvest Fans out there visiting http://game-net.gourl.com to check
out the Harvest Page! In the latest update, I gave you some info. on
getting a real relationship over a girl.
Marrige is one way to get your farm level percent increased by 10%. When
you've got a RED heart, Buy the Blue Feather. It may be expensive
though... For a cost, Tickle Her Fancy and see if she says yes. With my
one opprotuniy (so far ^_^) Popuri says something like, "Oh really? Okay.
I've always wanted to wear a wedding gown!"
It was that easy! In the next week, I think, you and your wife will be
taken to the church where you kiss before God and some of the townsfolk.
Sadly, when you get a wife, she doesn't help you, you HAVE to take care of
her, no more CHOCOLATES!!!! Lastly, you can take NO ONE ELSE TO THE SPRING
GODDESS FESTIVAL!!!!
Rick and Karen, Cliff and Ann, Doctor and Elli, Kai and Popuri, Mary and
Gray just naturally get married. Of course, if you get married, one of
those guys remains a lonely Bachelor!! In order to get a Baby....Talk and
give your wife gifts daily (WHAT SHE LIKE MOSTLY!!) And in about a month,
shell get pregnat. Take her to the clinic later though.
Overall, Marriage is really simple. As long as you take care of the farm
and your wife. If you lack with the Farm, call over the Harvest Sprites,
if your relationships are good that is!
Next time.. more info on Mining and Fishing. Until you read again..

Relationships With Gals
I hope your enjoying sdcoolskater's new layout!!! Bedside's that,
today's hints will be about Relationships with the gals!!
It doesn't matter which gal you choose. Many choose Elli because she's
really polite and nice. Some just really think that Karen's REALLY
HOT!!! I chose Popuri. In my perspective,
she's very caring, in a way, very cute and loveable. Mary is the somewhat,
quiet girl. I only had a purple heart. At the Goddess Festival without her
glasses, she looks quite adorable. Then there's Ann. I never really liked
her. I had a blue heart and then I gave her weeds and fodder because to
me, she turned out being a total brat. Anyhow...whether it's Karen, Popuri,
Elli, Mary or Ann, it depends on how you treat them. As soon as I saw
Popuri, I was like, "WOW!!" Same with Karen, but Popuri wears a corset!!
Whenever I got the chance, I gave Popuri accessories and a few to Elli.
One thing that you may also be VERY curious about, are the locked doors.
Become friendly and you can go there!! I went to Elli and the Doctor's
Wedding, and I was ab;e to go upstairs and even go into the Clinic on the
day they are closed (Wednesday)!!
Participate with them and the heart range in the dialouge box will
soar!!!!!!!!! The girl whose relationship is higher, you'll see at the top
during the Moon-Viewing Festival!

(6/NR/80), Cucumbers (9/R/60), Cabage (14/NR/250), Strawberries (8/R/30).
For Summer, onions (7/NR/80), Tomatoes (9/R/60), Corn (14/R/100),
Pineapple (20/R/500), Pumpkin's (14/NR/250). In Fall, Eggplant (9/R/80),
Carrots (7/NR/120), Sweet Potatoes (5/R/120), Green Peppers (7/R/40),
Spinach (5/NR/80) Hopefully you know that in Winter, you can't grow
anything, unless, you get a Hot House. *(days/renuable or not/how much
gold)
Farm/Home Extensions
I'll explain the Farm/Home Extensions right here! The first extension
is the Chicken Coop. You'll need 420 pieces of lumber (recomended that you
CHOP it down rather than buy it) and 5000G. After 3 days of work and
labor, you'll get room for 5 more chickens. The second one is the first
one that Gotz will work on your home. It requires 370 pieces of lumber and
then 4700G. You'll get, a kitchen, icebox, and a cabinet. Now you can
cook! Well after you buy the equiptment. Third is the barn. You need to
have 500 pieces of wood and 6800G for 5 more spaces for cows or sheep. The
last home extension costs 10000G and requires 750 lumber for a seperate
bedroom, better T.V., different table and a second bed (for your wife).
The last thing is a 7X7 field Hot House. With a hothouse a pricy cost of
30000G and 580 lumber pieces, you can plant any crop at any given time,
like Pineapples for 500G.
Festival Info
Spring:
New Years; Spring 1--The first year, you can't
participate because you need to unpack!! At 6pm, go to the Inn or Rose
Square and celebrate the new year. You even get the chance to dance with
your sweetheart ^_^
Goddess Festival, Spring 8--On the 7th, ask the girl who you like most or
have a higher heart with and ask her If she says yes, the next morning
she'll be at your farm, waiting until you finish you're work. When you're
done, the girls do a cute little dance.
Thanksgiving Festival; Spring 14--Today, you give the
girls a little sweet treat. Once you get a kitchen, gather up some recipes
and supplies and bake up some cookies or other snacks that they like.
Horse Race, Spring 18--Your little pony had better be a full grown one, or
else you can't race or that Barley will take him away!!!! Brushing him
daily helps in keeping him happy, so do that and you'll win easily. I
myself had done this, except I had 10/10 hearts so...
Cooking Festival; Spring 22--Once you actually get a
kitchen... you can begin to cook for the cooking festival. Usually Doug or
Ann wins but maybe you can find something that'll work ^_^
Summer:
Opening Day; Summer 1--You don't want to miss your only
chance to swim at Mineral Beach now do you?? Usually that Kai will win
but, take a rest in the Hot Spring for an hour, no more, no less. You
might start the race with a blue face! Press X like a maniac until you get
a YELLOW face and then hold the Triangle until you get a full stamina. You
end up last, until you begin to press the X uncontrollable, Kai stops and
hopefully you win!!
Chicken Festival; Summer 7--Bring your strongest hen to
Rose Square and have your Chicken fight in the... CHICKEN SUMO!!! If you
win, that chicken will produce the golden eggs, which are more valuable
than the regular white eggs.
Tomato Festival; Summer 12--Take part with one of the
teams in throwing tomatoes at other teams. Choose your team wisely, if you
or any other team member is still standing, you WIN!!!!!
Cow Festival; Summer 20--Have a cow with a large range of
hearts. Preferably 10/10 if you hope to win. If you win, your cow begins
to produce the golden milk!! Valuable a lot more than a large milk!
Fireworks Display; Summer 24--A night of romance to
declare the end of Summer. Sitting next to your little sweetheart and talk
while watching the pretty colors in the night sky.
Fall:
Music Festival; Fall 3--Pastor Carter comes on the 2nd, to ask
you to play the ocarina. This doesn't require much, except for being ON
TIME!!!
Harvest Festival; Fall 9--Today, everyone brings
ingredients to throw in the "Hot Pot"! Bring something good and the stew
will taste great. Bring in a crop. NOT, I REPEAT NOT ANY ANIMAL!!!!!
Moon Viewing; Fall 13--At the top of Mother's Hill, a
little romance is hear!! Go to the top of the hill to find your
sweetheart. Spend time alone underneath the stars, eating little desert
cakes and talking.
Sheep Festival; Fall 21--Bring in the happiest sheep at
your farm, for the annual judging. If your precious little ball of fluff
wins... it'll produce the golden fleece!!
Winter:
Dog Race; Winter 10--Race your Pooch. Make sure you play
fetch a lot and maybe you've got a shot at winning the race!
Winter Thanksgiving; Winter 14--At certain times, the
girls, if you have a relationship with them, will give you, chocolate or
even chocolate cakes!! Purple-Blue Hearts will give you chocolate. Higher
than Blue gives you chacolate cake.
Star Night Festival; Winter 24--Tonight, your sweetheart
may invite you to have dinner with her parents or when you're married, you
get it at your home. You have a little dinner, then she'll ask you to go
look at the stars. Say yes and you're on the top of Mother's Hill!
New Years Party; Winter 30--On the Summit of Mother's
Hill, talk to your neighbors and watch the sun come up to start a new
year!
