Final Fantasy 8 is one of the best RPGs ever made for PSX. It is a game
made by Square so it already has a good factor. Over that, it is part of
the brilliant Final Fantasy series. FFVIII is a long game as well
mentioning that it is 4 discs, a Final Fantasy record. The gameplay,
characters, and graphics are unbelievable.
Well even though the graphics may be outdated for today's games, FF8 is
known well for graphics. The cinemas play wonderfully on the PSX and the
battle system has many graphical features. Sometimes, the graphics are so
good that the PSX even freezes!
There are many characters in Final Fantasy 8. The main character is
Squall, who is a quiet natured person. There are many female characters in
the game too. These include Rinoa, Quistis, and Selphie. The characters
fit in perfectly with the story.
There is a lot of gameplay in FF8. There are many side quests putting even
more gameplay in the game. The battles involve pressing buttons furiously
while using GFs, or Guardian Forces. That factor can make FF8 more
interactive. The gameplay is definitely great.
Even though hardcore gamers may call FF8 a cinch, the game is great for
beginners. Many RPG lovers would want to play FF8 many times.
The fact that FF8 is not hard improves the rating for this game since it
can make the gameplay much more fun.
Therefore, Final Fantasy 8 is a great game and received a great rating.
It is a great game for newer RPG fans.
