Introduction: Devil May Cry is one of the most recent bloody games there are that are actually based on blood.  The series is known well to gamers.  The story of the game is rather strange; which is killing and murdering due to depression.  However, the theme is very interesting.  Devil May Cry 2 contains the same theme, but a different story.

Main Preview: Like always, a new game always has better graphics than its prequel, which holds true to this series too.  There are many more levels in the game, more than its prequel.  However, the most significant change between Devil May Cry 2 and Devil May Cry is that there is a female character.  Yes, she is on the side of the main character, Dante.  The story of the game hasn't been unveiled yet, but we hope for a good one since Devil May Cry's one didn't please us very well.  The gameplay and theme in Devil May Cry 2 are supposed to be as fun and murderous as its prequel, except better.  Furthermore, it will be very bloody and gory.  It is rumored that Devil May Cry 2 will feature online play, although I have no idea of how that could be done.

My Thoughts: This sequel isn't too much different from its prequel, but it sure continues the fun.  It isn't that revolutionary, but I realized that sequels have to be made to keep a series going.  I'm sure that Devil May Cry 2 will be in hands of gamers who haven't played its prequel.  Since I am not very familiar with the series, I may get a copy too.  Still, the hardcore gamers may not appreciate the new sequel.

Last Words: Devil May Cry 2 is a revolutionary addition to the series, and I am glad that the series is successful enough to continue.  However, I would have liked some more effort on making new innovative things into the game.  The rumor of online play is probably not true, but it would still be a high accomplishment for the series.
