Chrono Cross is one of the best games available for Playstation.  It features a marvelous storyline and an intriguing plot.  The game first starts off in Serge's dream of being in a fort.  He wakes up to find that he is late for a date with his girlfriend Leena.  He accidentally falls into another dimension, and finds a new comrade, Kid.  They explore to find out the secrets of their world, and the history of it.  In the process, Fate, also known as Lynx, tries to diminish the party; since Serge is the Chrono Trigger, or the Assassin of Time.  The group destroys Fate, and the world is no longer in its power.  However, Lavos, now known as Time Devourer, is still intact.  The final boss turns out to be Time Devourer.  After the game is beaten once, many other secrets can be unlocked.
